TO SUCCEED...

To laugh often and love much,
to win the respect of intelligent persons,
and the affection of children;
to earn the approbation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty,
to find the best in others;
to give one’s self;
to leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
to have played and laughed with enthusiasm
and sung with exultation;
to know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived --
this is, to have succeeded.

Comment:

This poem really inspired me because it talks about on how I will be facing my life for achieving my success.  It tells me that as a human, I should have an ambitions and aims in life so that I could have something to achieve. And to reach this things, I should pursue myself to be more responsible, hardworking, believe in myself, be patient, and concentrate forwardly to people I should give thank of being one who’s helping me and being my inspirations. It reflects me that life will be easier if there is willingness.
